This event is taking place in-person in a private residence in Highland Park, LA from 12pm-6pm PST (location will be shared with registrants).

Join Aki and Madre Jaguar for this in-person day reatreat in LA. This end-of-year Rose and Fire Ceremony invites you into a day of closing, tending, and conscious renewal. This gathering is crafted for those who understand healing as both personal and collective liberation. Held on the day of Ix—keeper of magic, creative energy and feminine power —we gather to close the energetic cycle of the past year and prepare for the next thirteen days and the year ahead with clarity and purpose.  With roses as our heart-teachers and fire as our guide to transformation, we explore the reciprocal relationship between grief, devotion, and the beauty that rises from both.

The day includes a rose blessing ceremony, collective altar work, communal food sharing, and a traditional Mayan Fire ritual engaging all twenty energetic principles. Together we step into the final threshold of the year, offering hair or moon blood to the Earth as a gesture of responsibility and belonging.

This gathering is hosted at a private residence in Highland Park in Los Angeles CA; address will be shared in the registration confirmation.

Paying it Forward
We provide most of our community offerings and private sessions by sliding scale. This is based on the idea of ‘paying it forward’ which enables more people to access healing and wellness. This works when people pay as much as they can for our offerings to help others who may be less fortunate be able to gain access, too. We believe everyone is entitled to heal and thrive, and that practitioners deserve to earn a living wage. We are all in this together and choose to do our best to take care of one another.
Thank you for being part of the MINKA community!
