Here we are, approaching the close of 2025.

In many traditions, this shift marks the movement from Snake energy into Horse energy — from the slow, shedding release of what no longer fits, into the steady gathering of strength, direction, and forward motion. The Snake teaches us to focus on the internal work of letting the old skin fall away; the Horse invites us to step into momentum gathered from the respite with clearer footing and a lighter heart. It’s been an unpredictable, stretching kind of year for many, especially for those holding families, clients, and communities. Even with moments of celebration and togetherness, a quiet truth tends to surface: the body and mind sometimes need a dedicated space to release the weight we’ve been carrying.

This gathering is designed for people who are curious about healing work but may feel hesitant, unsure, or simply new to it. The atmosphere will be grounded, warm, and accessible—no pressure to know anything, believe anything, or perform in any way. Just a space to exhale.

What we’ll explore together:

We’ll begin by settling into a welcoming community space and setting simple intentions for reflection. Participants will have the option to help create a communal altar—a symbolic place to honor the support, histories, and wisdom that accompany us, whether we name them culturally, emotionally, or spiritually.

We’ll open the heart space with cacao, a gentle plant medicine used for centuries to support emotional clarity and connection. This will lead into a guided meditation or visualization, paired with energy-based techniques offered by Aki to help clear patterns, emotions, and mental clutter that feel ready to be released.

Throughout the session, emotions are welcome, encouraged and supported. There is room for confusion, relief, laughter, grief, and whatever else shows up. Authenticity is the best medicine we can be present to; nothing needs to be hidden or fixed.

We will also receive a group Oracle reading to offer insight and guidance for entering 2026 with steadiness and intention. Aki will offer space for questions and share simple practices for the transition into the new year.

Everything offered is invitational. You are encouraged to join only in what feels comfortable and to sit out anything that doesn’t resonate in the moment.

Please bring:

  • Journal or notebook

  • Pen or writing utensil

  • Comfortable clothing for floor sitting

  • A mug for cacao

  • A small item for the community altar (you’ll take it home with you charged with the group’s healing intention)

Paying it Forward
We provide most of our community offerings and private sessions by sliding scale. This is based on the idea of ‘paying it forward’ which enables more people to access healing and wellness. This works when people pay as much as they can for our offerings to help others who may be less fortunate be able to gain access, too. We believe everyone is entitled to heal and thrive, and that practitioners deserve to earn a living wage. We are all in this together and choose to do our best to take care of one another.
Thank you for being part of the MINKA community!
