Aki Hirata Quetzalyolotzin Jewel Moon Medicine Woman is an Empress with a spirit of the Magician and the heart of the High Priestess.  Just as her natal chart suggests, she is a Phoenix who constantly re-invent herself of who she is, who she thinks she is, and who she aspires to be.  Her love for mysticism and forces unseen was evident in her second grade essay, in which she proclaimed she wanted to be a Witch when she grew up.  Driven by her passion for understanding powers in all things, and her struggle with depression and chronic physical ailments, Aki had studied various healing modalities such as Ayurvedic Medicine, Integral Hatha Yoga, meditation, Essential Oils, Bach & FES flower essences, Energy Healing (Reiki, IET, 13th Octave LaHoChi and more), Indigenous healing & medicine practices of the Americas taught by Nana Irma StarSpirit Turtle Woman, Maestra Rita Navarette Prez & Tonita Gonzalez, Maestro Sergio Magaña Ocelotcoyotl and Maestro Akaxe Gomez. . Her body, mind and soul have been very happy with one another for several years though these practices.

In this current life time, she is a Flower Essence Therapist, energetic healing practitioner, Reiki Godmother (commonly known as Reiki master teacher), meditator, community activist, food lover, healing & spiritual guide, artist, urban farmer, domestic violence survivor, mother to Saya, Shintaro & San, and wife to Ronald.  Her current project is MINKA brooklyn, a center for wellness & holistic living, which she co-founded with her business partners; creating inclusive communities that are self-sustaining and empowering individuals to evolve to their best possible versions of themselves.  

She calls Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn her home for the past 16 years, where her misfit spirit resides comfortably with other beautifully messy spirits.  She was born and raised in Japan, and spend several years in Americus and Atlanta, Georgia en route to Brooklyn.  She blames her Southern living for her strange accent.

Soul Purpose Alignment Sessions with Aki

Aki is here to guide her clients into further alignment with their own soul evolution — the larger scope of the flow of this life, held within the vastness of a soul that is moving from one lifetime to another, in the infinite expansion of the Universe.

The particularities of your life — your job, your relationships, the moment you are navigating — matter deeply. But they are parts and segments of a larger flow. They are the indications, the surface signals telling us where something is not quite where it needs to be, or where a perspective needs to be reframed. Aki's sessions are held at the level of that deeper current.

Two paths: online and in-person

Aki's practice is now offered along two distinct paths, based on how each modality moves most powerfully.

Online sessions are anchored by Akashic Record readings — sessions in which your guides and ancestors reveal what is asking to be tended in your soul's evolution, alongside energetic and frequency healing that arrives through the field during the session itself.

In-person sessions are focused on ceremonial and embodied practices — work that unfolds most fully when held in shared physical space.

Akashic Record readings are offered online only.

ONLINE — Akashic Record Reading & Guidance

All new online clients begin with a 60-minute Akashic Record reading. This is where your guides and ancestors reveal what is most important to address in this moment of your soul's evolution — including the direction of any subsequent work.

Subsequent sessions are guided by what the reading reveals, in dialogue with your own preferences and agency. Depending on what is called for, these sessions may include:

• Additional Akashic Record readings

• Energy healing (Usui Reiki, Earth Evolution Reiki, IET, LaHoChi)

• Past life regression

• Soul retrieval

• Ancestral healing

• Cord cutting

• Psychic surgery

• DNA activation (offered as a subsequent session when readiness is revealed in the Akashic reading)

Investment (online)

• Initial 60-min Akashic Record reading — $125–$250

• Follow-up 60-min — $125–$250

• 90-min — $175–$300

IN-PERSON — Ceremonial & Embodied Work

Aki's in-person sessions are focused on ceremonial and embodied practices that live most fully when held in shared physical space. Many of these practices come from the indigenous lineages she has trained within.

These sessions may include:

• Energy cleansing with eggs, plants, conches, or roses

• Rose Healing Ritual (see below)

• Soul retrieval

• Past life regression

• Cord cutting

• Psychic surgery

• Energy healing (Usui Reiki, Earth Evolution Reiki, IET, LaHoChi)

• Ancestral healing

• Flower essence therapy

• Integrative spiritual guidance

The in-person session includes the room rental fee, which places the lower end of the sliding scale higher than online sessions.

Rose Healing Ritual

• Rose Healing Ritual (2.5–3 hrs) — $300–$450 (Donation-based for indigenous folks of the Americas)

• Rose Healing Ritual with 90-min flower essence follow-up — $400–$550

Before your first session

Please complete your intake form at least 48 hours prior to the session so Aki can gather the necessary materials.

Aki's lineage & training

Aki is attuned to Usui Reiki, Earth Evolution Reiki, IET, and 13th Octave LaHoChi, and is a Master Teacher of Usui Reiki and co-channeler of Earth Evolution Reiki. Her indigenous training in Mesoamerican traditions has been received from Irma StarSpirit Turtle Woman, Sergio Magaña Ocelocoyotl, Rita Navarrete Pérez, Tonia Gonzalez, Abuela Ana Carmona Itzpapalotl, Abuela Kunana Tlatzotiani, Maestro Akaxe Gómez, and Maestra Clarissa Ixoahuatzin Gonzalez.

COMMUNITY DISCOUNT APPLICATION

The notion that these healing practices are only for those who can afford to pay a premium price undermines the principle of true healing. I offer a sliding scale to all of my clients—and this application is for those who might not be in a position financially to be able to afford those sliding scale rates. Due to limited availability, I prioritize folx with lived experience as Black, Brown and Indigenous, LGBIQ, well as currently experiencing unemployment or going through illnesses that prevents them from working.

MINKA Brooklyn also offers Community Reiki and Community acupuncture starting at $25 for Medicaid/medicare recipients, and $40-60 for anyone else.  Please consider taking advantage of their services as well.
