These intensive Reiki trainings will take place on 3 days from 10am-6pm in person in Brooklyn. You can choose all 3 days, or individual days only. Please specify your trainings during checkout. Usui Reiki II training only requires previous attunement to Reiki 1 or EE by the Godmothers. *Location might change to another Booklyn location depending on number of registrants.

Reiki Intensives with the Godmothers: Take all 3 Tranings or Choose You Preference

Reiki Intensives are three full days of training for three modality that are usually broken down into shorter multi day training. Our intention is to offer these trainings in a more dense but compact form. Choose all 3 trainings in one weekend, or attend select days only. If you prefer the less intense version of training, please visit our Mystery School for more info. Reiki trainings usually take place twice per year and our 2026 offerings will be updated soon.

In this 3-day intensive training, you will learn more about the origins of the Usui Reiki system and the way that the Godmothers of MINKA brooklyn, Manu and Aki, are practicing this form of energy work with integrity and from a decolonization lens. You will learn to utilize this energy for your own body-and healing work, and practice for others if you wish. In addition, you will learn about the “New Earth” energy and the Earth Evolution Reiki system that was channeled by the Godmothers in 2020 and is only avauilable at MINKA brooklyn. This system now serves as an integral tool to adjust to the current energetic shift on Earth.

Day 1: USUI REIKI I: SPIRITUALITY FOUNDATION & SELF-CARE 

This class will introduce you to the history of Reiki and its 5 principles. We will outline what energy healing is, and how you can apply energetic hygiene to maintain your system. This class also includes the hand placements for self-Reiki and an attunement, which turns on your ability to use Reiki. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and learn from the experiences of two Master teachers. There is no pre-requisite for this class, except for the desire to heal yourself and others around you.

Day 2: USUI Reiki II: Space Holding as a Spiritual & Professional Practice

In this class you will be able to deepen your connection to your Reiki energy healing practice and learn about the 3 Reiki symbols, which include the power-, mental-emotional, and distance healing symbol. We will also discuss multi-dimensionality and boundary setting and there will be a discussion on the relationship between time, space, and energy to understand why distant Reiki works. You will receive your 2nd Reiki attunement, and learn about the professional hand-positions and session sequence. 

With a Reiki II certification, you will have the ability to work as a Reiki practitioner. A Usui Reiki II certificate is honored after: the completion of the class, hands-on practice session, and submission of two case studies: one for an in-person session and one for a distance session. 

Day 3: Earth Evolution Reiki: Energy Healing for the Harmonious Future

In this class you will learn the origin of how three new symbols came to Reiki Godmothers and how these symbols have changed the way they integrate the intense energetic shifts. In addition, we will go over 5 additional energetic centers that work with the existing 7 chakras to complete the new 12 chakras system that humanity started activating and utilizing in this new era. The meaning of these three symbols: Dairoku, Jigen and Kokoro. How to use these symbols for self-healing and the work with the clients. In addition, Manu and Aki will go over a short lecture on ‘Earth Ascension’ and common symptoms one might experience, and how one might utilize this energy. This day will end with an attunement that will allow you to integrate this new frequency into your existing practice if you wish.

Aki Hirata Quetzalyolotzin Jewel Moon Medicine Woman, born and raised in Japan, immigrated to the United States at the age of 18. She is a student of the earth and the cosmos, an initiated medicine woman, and a moondancer. Attuned to various energetic healing frequencies—including Usui Reiki, Earth Evolution Reiki, IET, and 13th Octave LaHoChi—she is also a master teacher of Usui Reiki, cochanneler of Earth Evolution Reiki symbols, and the founder of MINKA Brooklyn. Aki has trained under numerous teachers of ancient traditions including Naina Marballi,  Suzy Meszoly, Irma StarSpirit Turtle Woman, Sergio Magaña, Rita Navarrete Perez, Tonia Gonzalez, and more. 

Manu River Del Prete is an energy healing facilitator and teacher, channeler, psychic ability coach, Galactic Akashic reader, past life regression therapist, and Feng Shui and space clearing practitioner. She has devoted over three decades to exploring the boundaries of the invisible energies. Through her teaching, coaching, and comprehensive practice—from medical intuition to life alignment or shifting—Manu integrates psychic, physical, and metaphysical energies. She assists her clients to experience an awareness that they already possess, by which greater health and well-being can be achieved.
