The 'Twerkshop' is a Hip Opening, Sacral Chakra Aligning & Mind Awakening Workshop all About the Healing Power of Twerk
During this 2.5 hour workshop, attendees will learn about the mind/body benefits of hip focused movements, discover the spiritual/energetic significance of the hips, develop a new view of twerk via historical + cultural analysis, build confidence, and of course, twerk (!!!).

The workshop will include discussions, meditation, and movement (yoga + dance). The first half of Twerkshop will be discussion focused, while the latter half will focus on movement and reflections. By the end of this workshop, attendees will have a better understanding of the importance of hip moving exercises and will go home with the moves and power to create their own twerk practice.

Please wear 'twerk' friendly clothes (something that you feel good in and lets your hips move). Bring: water, pen + paper, mat, bolster (optional), and dat ass!

Paying it Forward
We provide most of our community offerings and private sessions by sliding scale. This is based on the idea of ‘paying it forward’ which enables more people to access healing and wellness. This works when people pay as much as they can for our offerings to help others who may be less fortunate be able to gain access, too. We believe everyone is entitled to heal and thrive, and that practitioners deserve to earn a living wage. We are all in this together and choose to do our best to take care of one another.
Thank you for being part of the MINKA community!
