We created the C.O.R.E. programming: Consciousness of Radical Equity Leadership Training, a 15-month immersive program with a 12-member faculty that includes seasoned leaders and practitioners in healing, spirituality, and social change communities, professionals who bridge inner development with systemic transformation.

Aki Hirata Quetzalyolotzin Jewel Moon Medicine Woman is attuned to various energetic healing frequencies including Usui Reiki, Earth Evolution Reiki, IET, and 13th Octave LaHoChi. She is also a master teacher of Usui Reiki, co-channeller of Earth Evolution Reiki symbols, and the founder of MINKA Brooklyn. She is a moondancer, and trained under numerous teachers of ancient traditions, including Hatha yoga, pranayama and meditation (Integral Yoga Institute), Ayurvedic Nutrition (Naina Marballi), Art of Energy Healing (Suzy Mezoly), MedicineWay (Irma StarSpirit Turtle Woman), Toltec Healing Practice (Sergio Magaña Ocelocoyotl), Curanderismo (Rita Navarete Prez and Tonia Gonzalez) and more.
Rachel (Ray) Neirene Ellis is a medicine spirit whisperer, herbalist, body-spirit worker, story-teller, creative, and expansive being who is a forever student of the earth-cosmos. They have been a member and a part of the work exchange team at MINKA since Spring 2025. Ray’s intention is to deepen their attunement to body-spirit work and plant medicines creating ways for people deepen their capacity for healing and growth. They see their dedication to their work at MINKA as an act of devotion and commitment to their practice and those who they encounter on the path of healing justice work. They lead with a compassionate heart and curiosity always.
