The tools and techniques of meditation are many. Let’s explore a practical approach to applying these tools to our lives in a meaningful way. We’ll breathe, do some light seated movement, write and discuss together as a way to test the basic foundation of what the practice of meditation aims towards: Is meditation really a tool that can transform obstacles into supports.

Bryan Hogan began studying meditation in 2016, and shortly after, he started incorporating yoga and movement into his practice. Meditation and yoga serve as a way to connect to himself in a way that goes beyond the everyday. Having time and space for self-inquiry and connection are deeply regenerative and supportive for him in this season of life. His teaching is most influenced by the Vipassana tradition of meditation and the wonderful Thupten Phuntsok, of the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism. Bryan’s classes are his best attempt to blend personal experience and understanding of the teachings with what is currently shaping his life.
