This workshop series will consist of several research-based sessions covering five core soul wounds we all experience, and will discuss how to repair and recover from these wounds. The series will consist of five separate workshops, each lasting 60–90 minutes, introducing the concept of soul wounds, and discussing the research-based characteristics of the soul wound of focus for that session

  • Workshop 1: Healing the Connection Wound. This workshop will introduce the fundamental
soul wound of connection. People experiencing this wound often deal with experiences of
feeling unwanted or unwelcome, and cope by retreating into the mind or the world of spirit.

  • Workshop 2: Healing the Attunement Wound. This workshop will introduce the fundamental
soul wound of mis-attunement. People experiencing this wound often deal with experiences of
over-giving to others, or playing the role of rescuer, usually to their own detriment. They are
very good at attuning to and meeting the needs of others, but not themselves.

  • Workshop 3: Healing the Trust/Power Wound. This workshop will introduce the fundamental
soul wound of trust and power. People experiencing this wound often deal with experiences of
feeling that life is a jungle, and that they need to dominate others or “win” in order to feel safe.
They struggle with allowing themselves to feel and express vulnerability.

  • Workshop 4: Healing the Autonomy Wound. This workshop will introduce the fundamental
soul wound of autonomy. People experiencing this wound struggle with asserting themselves
and establishing healthy boundaries. They can be passive aggressive, though outwardly they
    present as people-pleasers.

  • Workshop 5: Healing the Love/Sexuality Wound. This workshop will introduce the
fundamental soul wound on love and sexuality. People experiencing this wound often dealt
with shaming or rigid cultural norms around issues of gender expression and sexual identity. As a result, they have persistent struggles relating to their bodies in a healthy way, and usually
struggle to maintain and vitalize their romantic relationships.

Paying it Forward
We provide most of our community offerings and private sessions by sliding scale. This is based on the idea of ‘paying it forward’ which enables more people to access healing and wellness. This works when people pay as much as they can for our offerings to help others who may be less fortunate be able to gain access, too. We believe everyone is entitled to heal and thrive, and that practitioners deserve to earn a living wage. We are all in this together and choose to do our best to take care of one another.
Thank you for being part of the MINKA community!
